I could do nothing but download from Fantasy/Prestige (and other Fantasy imprints) alone for months I reckon.
Oh yeah. And the Chronological Classics ( http://www.emusic.com/charts/ch/b/-dbm/a/0-0/556+1400213609/0.html ). Man, they just keep uploading those mothers. And I want them ALL. ALL, I say!
And I want this Bawdy Blues album: http://www.emusic.com/album/Memphis-Slim-Tampa-Red-Lonnie-Johnson-Bawdy-Blues-MP3-Download/10605237.html
And I want this Mildred Anderson stuff: the two albums there are just freakin’ beautiful: http://www.emusic.com/artist/Mildred-Anderson-MP3-Download/10567860.html
Emusic is killing me with wonderfulness.
Oh now you have made me add to my Save for Later lists, which I DID NOT need as I’m up to about 1000 records. There is a series of user lists called “Music for Lindyhoppers” which made me think of you. You can’t search for lists unfortunately but keep an eye out for them in the Playists section.
Just want to plug the message boards which lots of people don’t notice because its tucked away and not promoted (the 13 year old trolls complaining there is no R.Kelly seem to find it though). I haunt there pretty constantly. Its a good bunch
