I’m going to be MIA for a bit, so be cool, K?

Hey, yo, I know this is crap of me to drop out mid-conversation, but my not-blog life is crazy busy for the rest of this week, so I can’t reply or moderate those ninety million comments, etc etc til after the weekend probably.

Apparently Nathan Bugh has raised some points that are interesting, somewhere (FB? his blog?), so I recommend you take a looksee. And there are probably a few other blogs writing and thinking about this stuff.

This is one of the things taking up a portion of my allocated-for-dance-thinking space:

It’s very important. A group of peeps have organised an event to raise money for the Taree Women and Children’s Shelter. What a brilliant idea! I’m so excited to be part of this as a DJ and general oddsbody.

You need to know: Leigh Barker and the New Sheiks, The Irwell Street String Band, Hetty Kate, The Cope Street Parade, Geoff Bull and the Finer Cuts AND Ultrafox have all donated CDs for the raffle. Aren’t they the best? There are a bunch of other raffle prizes on offer, and all the DJs, teachers of the free class, volunteers and organisers have donated their time. The Petersham Bowls Club is also donating the venue hire.

So, I’m out for a bit. Talk later.

Party on, doods!
