Tiiiired arms, so swam veeery slowly, but got through it fine. I think of swimming as my ‘low impact’ exercise where I get a good stretch and some less intense exercise. I love swimming!

Started the Ease into 10k program.
Ran later in the day (for obvious reasons) and while the consequences of a christmas-without-rules made it a bit of a challenge, the really difficult bit was breathing – I’m still having allergy troubles. STILL. But finished the whole thing and was very grateful for the walking bits. Miserable pace, but I figure I get props for running on christmas day.

Swimming without the swim shirt = superpowered.
Had a bit of a technique breakthrough that made the whole arm stroke thing a lot easier. Swimming rocks.

Just a little ride to pick up a GIANT turkey. Easy ride over, but hard coming home up the hills with the GIANT turkey on my back. Haven’t done enough riding lately.

Finally over the allergies. Did some pretty arse-kicking work and felt much better for the exercise. Warm and a bit humid, but not too bad.

Allergies shocking again, so an easy walk was a bit huffy. Nice, though, to stretch out after last night’s dancing.
NB: having trouble with right foot at first joint of smallest toes (in foot, not actual toes). Is gradually getting sorer after running and dancing, so might have to revisit podiatrist. Sigh.

Hot, sweaty fun. Rock n roll! Lindy hop! Actually really felt the week’s exercise – bit fatigued and lacking the stamina during the night. Though actual fitness is good.

Surprised myself by finishing an entire 30 minute run without having to stop and walk. Think I’m finally getting it together again, fitness wise. It’s taken three weeks, which isn’t as quickly as I’d like, but I figure what counts is that I’m back there. Mostly. Still a pretty slow runner, though :D
Also did the usual 5 min warm up and warm down walking.
